RSS software?

Looking for software taht will read RSS channels and save it to database?

Later be able to search it based on category!

RSS software?
Perhaps RSS2SQL will work. It will take RSS feeds and convert them into a database.

Here are the details - http://www.feedforall.com/rss2sql.htm
Reply:Are you planning to make an RSS reader or something? If yes, try SimplePie.

It's easy to use, and easy to configure. What it does by itself is read RSS and put that in a cache file (a text file); the database version is still not around, but this is good enough. It has its own API which will help you get most of the parameters out of the RSS channel.

You'll find it here - http://simplepie.org/

Another one is lastRSS - just a single php file, but it is also good (though I like simplepie better). That, you'll find here - http://lastrss.oslab.net/
Reply:I recommend Omea Reader for offline use, and Google Reader for online use.
