Any suggestions for a desktop RSS reader?
google reader lets you read your rss feeds offline . its a new service.

take a look at it . you will prefer it to any desktop reader .

it also suggests some feeds for you that you will like .

it saves all records of your added feeds for ever . so you have a great archive. you can share top links that you read in a separate page.

it is erally better than any reader . never miss it .
Reply:I am not sure exactly what you mean, since RSS generally works over the Internet, but Mozilla Thunderbird works well as a desktop RSS reader. If you have some sort of internal RSS feed, you can read it using Thunderbird. How do you plan to get RSS feeds without going onto the Internet? If you describe what you want to do, we may be able to answer the question more effectively.
