I am an experienced web developer. I notice a lot of RSS feeds on tech sites and I love it. I'd like to make one for my existing flash site. I could code the XML manually, but I'm wondering how other people do it. Is there already some programs that will let you write a blog and markup the XML for you? How are RSS feeds typically made?

RSS feeds are usually generated on the fly, like most web pages are.
An out-of-the-box CMS or blog site should have an RSS generating option built in, or if the data is in a database you can find countless scripts on the net for extracting the info into an RSS feed.
