I set up RSS feeds from my favourite websites and blogs on myYahoo! page but it takes 24 - 48 hours to update. This means i still have to go to the original website to find the updated material - which basically defies the whole point of a RSS newsreader / aggregator.
Are there any better aggregators that update more quickly? Or is it more likely to be a problem with the websites themselves not 'pinging' reguarly? (I doubt this because even BBC news headlines and other big websites do not show up as updated on myYahoo! page).
...and yes i've tried clicking refresh!

there is no point.. (here comes the good stuff!)
They know it! they don't update feeds often enough!
they have a work around too! they call it pinging... it wakes them up!
